Why Two Trees? Scripture’s story begins in a garden, where the Tree of Life stands in Eden, and ends in a city, where the Tree of Life appears again beside the river of the water of life. Between them lies the story of humanity’s separation from God and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. The name Two Trees reflects those two biblical images—one at the beginning and one at the end—and the hope that connects them.
